Appreciation of Wines of the World

Welcome to the fun and exciting wine classes being offered in conjunction with Wine Stores in Dublin.

These classes are aimed at consumers with a love of wine, who may have little previous knowledge of wines, but have a passion to learn a little more about their favourite tipple.

The classes are fun and informal and aim to provide you with an understanding of the most important information appearing on the label of a bottle of wine, we will cover the main styles of wines produced by key grape varieties and will focus on a number of your favourite wine regions.

You will be introduced to the world of food and wine matching and lets not forget, taste some of the best wines available in your local O'Briens Wine store on the way.

Your lecturer, Lisa O Doherty has a wealth of experience from her tenure as chief sommelier at the prestigious K Club, writing her column, Lisa's Labels, for the Independents Fine Wine and Food Guide and lecturing with the Wineboard for the last couple of years.
